When Alice studied a bachelors degree in business and sustainable development, she started thinking about why the most commonly used diagnostic test was single-use only. It turned out that her co-founder Robert Porter, which she met through mutual contacts, was asking the same question. Together they founded Pharmista in 2020 and has since been working on turning the idea into reality.

Robert holds a PhD in chemistry and has many years of experience in developing and commercializing immunoassay technologies. Moreover, he helped develop the lateral-flow based pregnancy test and has founded 6 different companies within the diagnostics industry. To the company, Robert contributes with technological expertise, regulatory knowledge and an innovative mindset.

Annette holds a PhD in Medicine from Lund University and has over 15 years of experience from business development in in the biotech sector. Since 2017, she is serving as the CEO of Gedea Biotech, currently seeking approval their treatment of bacterial vaginosis without the use of antibiotics.

Erik is an experienced consultant within sexual and reproductive health with a specific focus on the OTC market. During his long career in women's health, he has had managerial roles at both Unipath and Alere and just recently stepped down as the CEO of Concepta Ltd. Erik is currently serving as the CEO of Lepzi which is a clinical diagnostics company.

Odd has worked with business development in various industries, and has a deep understanding of the importance of human relations in developing successful businesses. As of recent, he studied psychology at the Karolinska Institute, where he is utilizing this knowledge to support the team in various ways.

Professor Sellergren has 20+ years of experience in the research area of interest and is one of the leading authorities in developing Synthetic Affinity Reagents (SARs) for various indications. Currently, he is serving as a professor in Biomedical Sciences at Malmö University.
